The wolf and the Native American. Both misunderstood, both feared and hunted to the brink of extinction.

Wolves played a large role in native culture. Many tribes have stories and legends about the wolf. There were many similarities in their way of life; both lived in groups, hunted to survive. Everyone helped take care of the young. There was an established social order within the group, and they respected their elders.
